Male hair loss treatment options at MeNZ Medical
Oral Medications
Oral medications for male hair loss include finasteride, dutasteride and oral minoxidil. These medicines are taken daily to both re-grow lost hair, and maintain a fuller head of hair over time. To make things easy, these medicines are available to purchase in-clinic for those eligible.
Topical medications
Minoxidil is a topical medication applied directly to the scalp to treat hair loss.
Exo-Grow Hair Regrowth System with Dermapen Microneedling
MeNZ Medical are an approved stockist and treatment provider of the proven Exo-Grow Hair Regrowth System with Dermapen Microneedling.
Treatment is provided by a combination of both in-clinic treatments and at-home treatments.
In-clinic treatment involves a Practice Nurse applying Exo-Grow serum to your scalp, then using a Dermapen Microneedling Device to create tiny micro-channels into the skin. Using the Dermapen Microneedling Device means the Exo-Grow serum sinks in deeper into the scalp, making the treatment more effective. It’s a quick, comfortable ‘lunch-time’ session with zero downtime.
At-home treatment involves application of the Exo-Grow Tonic to the scalp.
At least 6 in-clinic sessions are recommended at 2 weeks apart. Cost is $650 per session, discounted to total $3500 ($400 saving) if all 6 sessions are prepaid before the first session. Maintenance sessions can be arranged following this on an as-required basis.
The at-home tonic costs $434 and comes with a roller ball applicator for easy application. Other Exo-Grow products are available, and are discussed during your appointment.
